Taycia "Ambient Lighting"

I posted these two pictures because one was taken with flash, etc. but the picture on the left hand side I just held up a white piece of paper to bring in more light at the base. I was completely amazed with the effect a simple piece of white paper had on the image. I don't really care for my shot, but, I don't have any special lighting so I used lamps, flashlights, candles, I covered my flash with a tissue. I covered the lamp with tissue. I directed the light all different ways. Unfortunately, I got so carried away with learning about light... I really didn't take a "great" shot... but, I learned an incredible amount.
